Our Reflex Technology™ platform features True Coaxial Illumination™ (TCI) for on- and off-axis viewing, a precise aiming beam and a superior energy beam profile. It’s an approach that maximizes focusing accuracy and provides a safe and highly effective tool for the treatment of vitreous opacities.

I adopted laser floater treatment for the symptomatic floater patients just over three years ago. More than 3,000 procedures later, I have been astounded by the positive effect it has had on my patients. I now also fully appreciate the negative impact floaters can have on patients’ quality of life. When looking at the results in my own clinic, more than 90% of patients indicate that they are satisfied with their improvement in daily visual functioning as a result of undergoing the procedure.

Improve patient life quality

While floaters can be overlooked as a common symptom of vitreous deterioration, the adverse effect that they can have on a patient’s quality of life is sometimes significant enough to warrant treatment. A study of over 300 outpatients reported that floaters had the same negative impact on quality of life as age-related macular degeneration*.

Laser Floater Treatment can significantly improve a patient's perception of their everyday visual functionality and provide them with much-needed relief from eye floaters. The technique fills the treatment gap for patients whose symptoms and risk profile does not warrant treatment with vitrectomy. Laser floater treatment can also delay or obviate the need for surgery.
